Family Activities in Millburn

Taylor Park is built into the back of the Millburn Free Public Library, which sounds like a small thing until you have a toddler losing patience halfway through storytime and you can be on a slide in ninety seconds. The library on Glen Avenue runs weekly storytimes, craft hours, kids book clubs, and a busy school-break calendar. South Mountain Reservation forms the western edge of town with miles of trail and a playground inside the woods for a real half-day outing. We end up doing the library-park combo most Tuesdays, even though we live here and could pick anywhere.
