Family Activities in New Providence

I didn't realize how much the Memorial Library was running until our second month here, and now most weekday mornings end up there. The library on Springfield Avenue is the anchor: weekly storytimes for babies and toddlers, craft hours, kids book clubs, and a summer reading calendar that actually fills up. The township pool covers most of June through August. The township parks handle playground and field time, and the borough rec department layers in seasonal sports clinics. It's a quieter weekend than the bigger Union County towns, which is exactly why we kept ending up here. My kid loves it.
